FC Barcelona reaches out to Japanese audience

The club is promoting a campaign with the hashtag #hellojapan to approach fans in Japan due to its involvement in the Club World Cup

With FC Barcelona’s first game of the Club World Cup eagerly anticipated, the club has created the campaign called ‘Hello Japan’. With an image, a video commercial in four languages and the hashtag ‘#HelloJapan’, the club is attempting to reach out to its Japanese audience ahead of competing in the competition.

In the image, the team poses in front of a red and white ball, reflecting the Japanese flag, and in the top corner appears the hashtag both in Japanese and English.

The commercial is available in four languages: Catalan, Spanish, Japanese and English and displays images from the Champions League final in Berlin as well as the last Club World Cup in Japan.
