The highlight of the exhibition includes all models made by the finalists for the Nou Camp Nou and Nou Palau Blaugrana
A special exhibition designed to give a closer look at the Espai Barça finalists opened this Tuesday at the Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC).
The exhibition delves into all the finalists' proposals for the New Camp Nou and the New Palau Blaugrana.
The opening ceremony was attended by FC Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu, as well as the dean of COAC, Lluís Comerón, and the architects who made the final round.
The models from the two winning teams — Nikken Sekkei + Pascual-Ausió Arquitectes and HOK + TAC Arquitectes — have their own space at the exhibition.
"What we see in this exhibition is a demonstration of FC Barcelona's enormous capacity to attract the talent, creativity and enthusiasm of some of the best architecture firms in the world," said Mr. Bartomeu
Two other spaces are dedicated to showcasing models for the other finalists and their plans, including images and documents.
The exhibition runs until 2 June.
