Nike launches Air Max 1 with FC Barcelona crest

Fans can now express their love for the club by personalising the sports shoe with the famous crest Marc Bartra was the first to wear the Barça themed Air Max 1 i on the trip to Amsterdam

Futbol Club Barcelona fans can now express their love for the club by wearing the new personalised Air Max 1 with the famous crest. Using the NikeiD service at the official online Barça store nike.com/fcb fans can select from a variety of options to personalise the world famous Air Max 1.

You can select all kinds of services to create your own personal Air Max 1, from adding a slogan or personalised iD on the inside of the tongue, choosing between the classic Air Max technology or Lunarlon, and even personalising the laces. The only limit is your imagination, and every shoe is different and authentic.

Bartra, first to try out his new Air Max 1 FCB

First team defender Marc Bartra was the first to don the new Air Max 1 in the company of Instagrammer Misshedwig (@misshedwig), who is also an art director and joined the player as he designed his very own Air Max 1. Following Misshedwig’s advice, Bartra picked bright, lively colours and opted to include his own name and surname on the tongue of his brand new pair of Air Max 1 FCB shoes.

He was seen wearing them for the first time on the team’s trip to Amsterdam to play in the Champions League.

CUSTOMISE AND BUY

Thanks to NikeiD, any FCB can now wear trainers in the colours of their favourite team, adding a club crest and any slogan they like (for example, ‘Barça, Barça, Barça’ or ‘Més que un club’). Misshedwig has also made a series of Air Max 1 FCB designs to share from today with his followers and with Marc Bartra via social networks.

Marc Bartra commented that "the Barça colours are a part of my life. Trainers with the FC Barcelona crest are as good as it gets for me. I was wearing the FCB shirt when I was one year old and these colours are now part of my skin."

The options to personalise Air Max 1 shoes are available for both children’s and adult sizes.
