The Barça legend was at this morning's session accompanied by Sporting Director Andoni Zubizarreta and the Coordinator of the Football Area Narcís Julià Cruyff and members of his foundation had been invited by Eusebio Sacristán.
This morning’s Barça B training session received a visit from a very special guest - Johan Cruyff. The ex-Barça star and manager, who was invited to the session by Eusebio Sacristán, was accompanied by members of his foundation, sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta and the coordinator of the Professional Football area, Narcís Julià.
Cruyff, Zubizarreta and Julià spent their time watching the session and talking about current trends in football and Ajax and its organisation, as well as the work of the Johan Cruyff foundation and the interest which Cruyff has in the training of young players. Another item on the agenda was the possibility of creating pension plans for footballers on their retirement.
Invitation made a few weeks ago
The invitation for Johan Cruyff to visit arose out of the homage paid to the Dutch master in Sitges a few weeks ago, which was attended by many members of the famous Dream Team, including Eusebio Sacristan, who took the opportunity to invite Cruyff to attend a B team training session.
