Barça supporters can now talk to each other and take social selfies while watching their favorite team at home
FC Barcelona today announced a major upgrade to its official mobile app that will now let fans share their team passion in a more personal, unique way.
This new development is the result of the agreement between FC Barcelona and TOK.tv Inc., the fastest growing social network in the area of sport with more than four million users around the world.
With the integration of the “Social Button" – available inside the matchroom on the app – users will unlock a set of social features that will enable them to share the emotion of watching a game together with their friends. These new social features help recreate the live experience, as if fans were actually at the stadium during the match.
USERS CAN NOW TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THESE NEW FEATURES:
-Talk live: users will be able call up to three friends simultaneously, scream for the blaugrana together and comment on every action of the match as if they were on the same couch.
-Cheer on the team: send Camp Nou chants and “stadium” sounds to other fans. Chants and sounds available in the carousel will let users cheer on Barça and recreate the stadium experience.
-Take Selfies: users can take pictures of themselves and their friends, making the best moments of the game last forever. With dynamically changing backgrounds and the option to share the photos on social media, the “Social Selfie” is the ultimate feature to make every game unforgettable.
