Barça is calling on all followers of its social networks to join in with the actions being set up ahead of Saturday's visit to Real Madrid and to share them with all their friends
The Barça social networks are getting in the mood for the Clásico and with just a few days to go before the showdown at Real Madrid, fans are being asked to join in with a number of special activities.
One of the actions that has already generated 1.5 million ‘likes’ is the avatar with the Barça crest that fans can use on their Facebook profiles. A new avatar is about to be unveiled that Barça supporters can also use to personalise their Facebook profiles and get warmed up for the Clásico.
Choose the Clásico hashtag
Barça is also inviting supporters to pick the hashtag that will be used to support the team on Saturday at the Santiago Bernabéu. In a Twitter survey, fans can choose between #FCB and #MesqueunClub. The most popular choice will not only be used to group together all tweets about Barça, but will also make the image of the Barça crest appear in the form of an emoji.
FC Barcelona and Real Madrid will both be using the #ElClasico hashtag to refer to all content connected with the game and also to generate conversations between the clubs. And not forgetting the #FCBlive hashtag to keep up to date with everything that happens on the day of the match.
