Sunday's meeting at the La Masia–Ciutat Esportiva complex served to take a close look at the master plan for managing the Club over the next five years
The FC Barcelona Board of Directors held a meeting on Sunday at the La Masia-Oriol Tort Training Centre to discuss the Club's Strategic Plan, which had been prepared by members of the Club's Executive Committee in recent months.
The Strategic Plan is a roadmap for managing the Club over the next six years and is based around five strategic areas: sporting excellence, maximum social involvement, sports infrastructure development, the Barça brand and its global position, and management and economic sustainability.
Attending the meeting were the members of the Board of Directors, led by President Josep Maria Bartomeu, along with members of the Club's Executive Committee: CEO Nacho Mestre; the director of professional sports Albert Soler; Pancho Schröder, Corporate Area Director; Francesco Calvo, Commercial Area Director; Pere Jansà, Social Area Director; William T. Mannarelli, Director of the Espai Barça project; Albert Roura, Communications Director; and Josep Cortada, Director of the FCB Foundation.
